TUBA CITY, Ariz. – The Department of Dine’ Education and the Offices of Dine’ Science, Math and Technology recently put on the 2015 Navajo Nation Science Fair at Red Rock State Park in Gallup, New Mexico. Students from 245 reservation schools competed for prizes like LeapPad Ultras, Kindle Fires or FireFox tablets as well as medals and certificates and the chance to represent their schools at the state level.  Several Tuba City Junior High students came home with winning ribbons, prizes and recognition for their entries including Ezekiel Macaraig, who took home a second place win and a Kindle Fire tablet, Mackenley Nez, who earned a third place win, and Ruthie Miranda with a fifth place win. The areas of the science competition included: animal science, behavioral science, social science, biology, chemistry, engineering, environmental science, physical science and computer science…
