Tuba City High’s Junior ROTC keeps traffic flowing
FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – Visitors at the 66th Coconino County Fair this year enjoyed four days of fun and a convenient parking experience thanks to Tuba City’s Marine Corps’ Junior ROTC Program.
“Thanks to the Marines, from Tuba City High School, we were able to control the traffic and park hundreds of vehicles without any serious incidents” said Tom Hanecak, with maintenance and operations for the county’s Parks and Recreation Department. “We are pleased and proud to be associated with these young cadets.”
For almost a decade, Marines from the Marine Corps’ Junior ROTC Program have set up a campsite for the four-day Labor Day weekend to assist with parking and traffic control for the county fair…
